A great break from storyline... which there wasnt much of anyway lol, but still. Amazing. Wonderful, smooth fast-paced animation.

Pixelville Pensioners

"Great!"

date: August 26, 2005

great game. graphics have never been the most important thing to me, and i like the retro style. there are few games like this on NG, there should be more. only two things i think you might improve:
more sound effects?
and the music loops got annoying after a while.
my pathetic time: one HOUR 9 secs : )
make more!!!

Author's Response:

Thanks CyberLemming; the 4 songs in the game are good, but they are very short loops (< 1 minute)... Pixelville 2 will have longer loops on the soundtrack.

Good call on the graphics; Pixelville looks exactly like I wanted it to look - like a ZX spectrum game.

Sequel should be out soon(ish!)

wow... this is very well done, and emotional too. (depressing). The (almost) black-and-white fits perfectly. great graphics and sound - Tim Jones narrates very well, and the music fits. the tone is too dark and sad to be humourous (which some of it would be), but that's the point. more of this kind of story would be good?
